There hasn't been much chaos in the College Football Playoff picture of late, but the committee still has some tough decisions to make.
The Virginia Cavaliers are into the playoff if they beat the Duke Blue Devils in the ACC Championship Game. If Duke wins, there's a chance the Blue Devils don't reach the playoff bracket. At 7-5, Duke likely won't be ranked on Tuesday, and in that case the two highest-ranked conference champions would get automatic berths.
After a 27-20 victory over Auburn in Week 14, Alabama fell from No. 5 to No. 6 in the ESPN Football Power Index (FPI) rankings. The Alabama Crimson Tide were jumped by Texas Tech, who finished the season with a dominant win over West Virginia in Week 14.
