NBC's “Saturday Night Live” has announced its December lineup, featuring Ariana Grande as host on Dec. 20. Cher will be the musical guest.

Coming just over a year after the Wicked star last hosted SNL, the next Grande-led episode will air Dec. 20. Rather than Grande serving as her own musical guest - which she did the first time she hosted the show in 2016 - Cher will come aboard to perform.

Finally, for the last episode of 2025, Wicked: For Good actress Ariana Grande will host the Dec. 20 installment, with Hollywood icon (and "DJ Play a Christmas Song" singer) Cher serving as the musical guest for the first time since her debut SNL performance in 1987.

Saturday Night Live' has set Ariana Grande and Josh O'Connor as the next hosts. They'll be joined by respective musical guests Cher and Lily Allen.
