Cadillac gets final approval to join F1 grid as 11th team in 2026
Cadillac’s new Formula One team has received final approval from F1 and its governing body, the FIA, to join the grid in 2026. In November, F1 announced it had agreed in principle to allow General Motors, the American car giant, to race from next year with its Cadillac brand, provisionally expanding the field to 11 teams.

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is confirmed to join the grid next year following a final approval from the FIA and Formula One Management last week.
