KYIV (Reuters) -Blasts rang out over Kyiv on Wednesday morning after officials said Russia launched its first missile attack on the Ukrainian capital since August and urged residents to take cover. The scale of the strike and extent of any damage were not immediately clear.

KYIV/Moscow — At least nine people were injured in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv during overnight Russian drone attacks, military officials reported on Wednesday on the Telegram platform. In a western district of Kyiv, drone debris fell into a multi-storey residential building, igniting fires in several flats.
