An Israeli drone strike has hit a car near Beirut, killing one person and injuring three others, according to Lebanon's state news agency.

The Israeli Air Force attacked several sites in Lebanon on Thursday, including a car in rush hour traffic near Beirut. A dpa reporter reported that two missiles struck a motorway south of Beirut while many cars were on the road.

One person was killed and three others were injured in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon on Thursday, in the latest violation of a ceasefire agreement, the Health Ministry said. A ministry statement said the strike targeted a vehicle on a highway in the Khalde area, south of Beirut, causing the casualties.
