The Memphis Grizzlies got bad injury news about superstar Ja Morant this weekend. But accounting for missing starters is nothing new for this injury-plagued roster that's been surprisingly resilient this season.

After missing all but nine games in the 2023-24 season, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant returned from his injury and suspension-ridden year on a mission. Through his first eight appearances of the new season, Morant averaged 20.6 points and a career-high 9.1 assists per game, leading Memphis to a 5-3 record in games that he played in.
