At the same time as Joel's final moments in the mountain lodge, Jackson finds itself under attack by not only waves of Infected, but smart Infected who change tactics during the siege. It's an entire sequence written for the TV show and it's a true nail-biter.

One of the most noticeable changes in The Last of Us Season 2, which initially did not sit well with fans of the video game, was Kaitlyn Dever's casting as Abby. Since Abby is much more muscular and stronger in the video game, Dever's casting choice was criticized.
