Hello readers! BJP’s Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta is set to be the new Chief Minister of Delhi, the fourth woman to take the mantle in the national capital in 32 years of its Assembly’s history. She will be sworn in along with her ministers around noon at the iconic Ramlila Maidan.

In her first cabinet meeting on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme with an additional Rs 5 lakh top-up. The cabinet also gave the nod for tabling 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports in the first session of the Assembly, HT reported.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta who was sworn in in a grand ceremony on Thursday in the national capital's Ramlila Maidan attended the evening aarti on the banks of the Yamuna. She was joined by newly inducted cabinet ministers and the Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva at the Vasudev Ghat.
