Large hail, damaging winds and even tornadoes could visit portions of Texas on Wednesday, but Houston won't face the threat of stormy skies.

Wednesday to be breezy and warm for the afternoon and evening with a few late-day storms well north of Houston.

Showers and storms are very likely Tuesday morning and a few could be severe in East Texas and Louisiana. It's possible that we could have a brief heavy storm, but fortunately our round of rain should be brief - lasting from around 7am through noon.
