The Vegas Golden Knights won Game 3 of their second-round matchup with the Edmonton Oilers thanks to veteran forward Reilly Smith. And with Calvin Pickard still recovering from an injury, it seemed as if Vegas had the perfect chance to even this series.

Reilly Smith scored with 0.4 seconds left on a shot that deflected in off Edmonton forward Leon Draisaitl’s stick to give the Vegas Golden Knights a stunning 4-3 victory in Game 3 on Saturday night.

With the score in Game 3 tied at 3-3 and with only seconds left in regulation, Vegas forward William Karlsson passed the puck to Smith, who faked before scoring on a wrist shot that deflected off Oilers star Leon Draisaitl's stick to put the Golden Knights ahead with just 0.4 seconds remaining in the third period.
