The Jaguars quarterback was the subject of a reported trade request by the quarterback-needy Steelers last week.

A local media outlet in Pittsburgh reported that the Steelers were looking into acquiring Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, offering two draft picks in exchange. Later in the day, NFL Media called the rumors "fake" and said that the Steelers never explored it.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence made it clear in his Monday interview with Kay Adams that he isn't waiving his no-trade clause to go to Pittsburgh — and that was before PFT reported the Steelers never even made a call inquiring about the QB.
