The Boston Red Sox might have to reimburse starting pitcher Sonny Gray. Gray, who was acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals on Nov. 25, went out and made a new purchase immediately after hearing about the trade — which he wore during his introductory press conference on Tuesday.

Veteran starter Sonny Gray has returned to the American League East as a member of the Boston Red Sox, acquired last week in a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals.

"When I was there (from mid-2017 through 2018), it just didn't really work for who I am," Gray said.
