DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County parents are questioning the future of their school district as the search for new leadership begins following the departure of Superintendent Dr. Devon Horton.

The former superintendent of DeKalb County Schools was arrested Saturday on child cruelty and assault charges.

Horton was booked in the DeKalb County Jail at 1:38 p.m. on Saturday.
