A Long Island CVS employee was stabbed to death on Christmas night.  It happened around 7 p.m. Thursday at a store on East Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst, according to the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad.

Pharmacy giant CVS repeatedly refused to say whether it would cover the funeral costs for an employee who was murdered inside a Long Island store on Christmas Day, hours after police accused the company of delaying its investigation.

A CVS employee was fatally stabbed in the chest on Christmas Day in the Lindenhurst store, and the killer fled on foot, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
