As Jimmy Butler and De’Aaron Fox headline the two biggest players who are available ahead of the trade deadline, there’s a good chance that they will not be traded for each other, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick.

According to NBA insider Sam Amick of The Athletic, the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings have discussed a De’Aaron Fox trade.  The Kings are not interested in trading for Jimmy Butler, who has requested a trade from the Miami Heat.

Fox is the new name on the market after sending signals he doesn't want to commit long term to the Kings. Meanwhile, Butler remains suspended as the Heat decide his future.
