As the saying goes, one door closes and another opens, and former Warner Bros International Distribution Chief Andrew Cripps, who recently exited that studio, is driving down the street to Walt Disney Studios as their new Head of Theatrical Distribution.

Walt Disney Studios has hired former Warner Bros. executive Andrew Cripps as head of theatrical distribution.

Industry veteran Andrew Cripps has been named head of theatrical distribution at The Walt Disney Studios, less than two months after he departed Warner Bros. Cripps replaces Tony Chambers, who was recently named president, The Walt Disney Company, EMEA, and starts in the role today (March 3).

Andrew Cripps will now succeed Tony Chambers as head of theatrical distribution at Disney. He'll begin on March 3. The role opened after Chambers is now overseeing Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
