No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide left Knoxville, Tenn., with their fifth loss of the season—this time to the now-No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers. While ‘Bama held the lead most of the game, the Vols made several runs late in the second half to tie the game and eventually take the lead.

The Alabama Crimson Tide were on the wrong side of an instant classic against the Tennessee Vols on Saturday night in Knoxville. Alabama led for much of the game, but the Crimson Tide left Rocky Top with a 79-76 loss thanks to a buzzer beating three-pointer from Vols guard Jahmai Mashack.

Nate Oats and Alabama had a 4-point lead with 36 seconds left in the contest vs. Tennessee, but the coach's miscues opened the door.
