Benjamin Song, 32, is wanted by the FBI in connection with an attack on the Fourth of July outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado.

The July 4 attack is just one in a series of recent attacks against federal immigration officers. On Monday, July 7, U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley fatally shot a Michigan man who launched an attack at their McAllen facility before dawn.

Benjamin Hanil Song, a former Marine reservist, is wanted in connection with the coordinated July 4 attack, according to authorities.

The FBI said Song allegedly was involved at an attack on an officer on July 4 at Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.

AUSTIN, Texas (KAUZ) - The Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List now features Benjamin Song. At Governor Greg Abbott’s order, Texas Crime Stoppers is also offering a $10,000 reward for Song. The FBI is also offering $25,000 for information that leads to Song’s arrest and conviction.
