At least 50 people are dead in central Texas after devastating flash floods slammed Hill Country, with water rescues taking place along the Guadalupe River. While officials couldn't confirm an exact number of those who remain unaccounted for,

The following counties and areas in Texas currently have a flood warning in place: Guadalupe River near Bloomington affecting Victoria, Refugio and Calhoun counties. Neches River near Diboll, affecting Angelina, Polk and Trinity counties. Rio Grande, Big Bend National Park, affecting Brewster County.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he had asked President Donald Trump to sign a disaster declaration, which would unlock federal aid for those affected.
