The Philadelphia Eagles will officially be invited to the White House. After nearly two days of controversies surrounding the contents of an article published in The Sun over two weeks ago, President Donald Trump announced he would extend an invitation for the Super Bowl 59 champions to visit the White House later in the year.

Though Trump's White House rescinded an invitation to the championship Eagles in 2018, officials say no formal invitation for 2025 was issued.
