The triple homicide comes less than 24 hours after a shooting left two men dead in the 7500 block of Newcombe Drive in Theodore.
A four-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, Jan. 18 closed down part of Interstate 10 for hours and injured multiple people. Police said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. along Interstate 10 West at the Downtown exit.
Erian Sandoval, 26, was shot at and then crashed his vehicle into the freeway median and died on the scene, police said. It's unclear if he was shot.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office investigators detained a man who's accused of walking on Interstate 10 in Metairie with a rifle on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.
