Defending champion Jannik Sinner stormed into the last 16 of the Australian Open, while Iga Swiatek dominated Emma Raducanu to secure her spot in the next round. Joining them in the second week is 38-year-old Gael Monfils and his wife Elina Svitolina also claimed a surprise victory on the same court shortly after.

Jannik Sinner will face his trickiest test yet at the Australian Open when the defending champion battles Dane Holger Rune in the fourth round on Monday, while five-times Grand Slam winner Iga Swiatek will be the heavy favourite against lucky loser Eva Lys.
