William Byron is a two-time Daytona 500 champion. Byron survived a last-lap crash that took out the other leaders in the front pack, then outlasted Tyler Reddick to the checkered flag to win on Sunday. Austin Cindric and Team Penske dominated the first 450 miles, but three separate multi-car crashes whittled the field down.

Christopher Bell became the first NASCAR Cup Series driver to win three straight races in the NextGen car, holding off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin by 0.049 seconds to win the second-closest race in Phoenix Raceway history.
