Over the past day, from March 12 to 13, the Russian army lost 1,200 soldiers, 2 armored fighting vehicles, and 81 units of automotive equipment in the war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

Russia said on Thursday there was no doubt that its troops would soon complete the task of clearing out Ukrainian forces from Russia's Kursk region where they have held a pocket of territory for more than seven months.
