Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels put together one of the best first seasons in the NFL at his position in the history of the league. But many fans believed a player from the AFC deserved NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Daniels, who played a key role in reinvigorating the franchise, is the first Washington player to earn the honor since Robert Griffin III after the 2012 season.

Jayden Daniels not only won an award Thursday, but he also had Jerry Jones regretting facing Daniels. At Thursday's NFL Honors from New Orleans, Daniels was the runaway winner of the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
