However, prior to that, the Bucks had an interest in trading for another star in the form of Jimmy Butler. That deal would’ve involved Middleton, but according to former Bucks fan favorite John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo shut down those trade talks.

According to multiple reports from Shams Charania and Marc Stein, Paul had a conversation with Bucks officials on Wednesday as he weighs his options. The 40-year-old, once on a $120 million deal with the Suns, is now a free agent after spending last season with the Spurs.
