OpenAI wants to make clear that Robinhood's sale of "OpenAI tokens" will not give everyday consumers equity — or stock — in OpenAI.

OpenAI said it was not involved in Robinhood’s launch of tokenized shares in Europe, warning users the assets were issued without its approval.

OpenAI said on Wednesday it has not partnered with Robinhood for the stock tokens the trading platform unveiled earlier this week.
