For example the Heal spell specifies it can do Vitality damage to Undead or Vitality healing for the living. By comparison, the Vitality Lash cantrip doesn’t heal the living: it harms the Undead and the living are immune to it instead. The same applies in reverse for Void.

It's still generally better to level damage stats, mana, stamina, and health though. I'd view Vitality as a late game option after you've hit hp softcaps (the first is at 27, second at 44, so I wouldn't touch Vit until 27 hp at least)

While you can still be slowed by environmental effects, the Vitality Enhancement ensures you can’t be injured. This perk is a tremendous buff as it affects the entire squad.

Oppressor (Necro/Oathkeeper) can run Ravenous Earth in Acid or Fire later on too, if you feel like switching damage types while still playing basically the same build.

I only noticed vanilla and chocolate whey protein powder beyond some fresh juiced fruits/veggies and the usual pre-blended ingredients. They also had a few other bites like a granola bar and banana bread, also included for anyone.

Scales might still be good for vitality melee even if it didn't come with RR, just on the size of the leeching it does.
