A little one I saw was having a hard day. They were upset and REALLY needed to eat, but couldn't calm down enough to take a bottle. So what did we do? Their mom mentioned running water being a favorite sound. So we went into the clinic bathroom with baby wrapped snug in a fleece blanket, turned off the lights, turned on the faucet, and made sure they felt safe.
