Carving all my thoughts away 🫠💆🏽‍♂️ carving maple wood with a blue steel kiridashi knife made by Ikeuchi Hamono. It’s not the most comfortable to carve with a kiridashi like that; after a while, the handle starts to dig into the hand. But this blade is too beautiful not to be used, so I’m planning to make a wooden handle and sheath.
