This nestling Red-shouldered Hawk came to us after being rescued and evaluated by Loudoun Valley Raptor Center, Inc. after the nest had fallen and siblings were found deceased. On exam, this youngster was depressed with some minor head trauma. After 24 hours, this patient developed torticollis (a head tilt, likely secondary to the trauma).
