It's flying-fox birthing season and our workload is increasing daily mostly due to the rescue of flying-foxes out of large aperture anti bird netting thrown over fruit trees. However, on this occasion, it was a child's backyard soccer net that trapped poor Susan and her baby. Now in care with us and with her injuries cleaned and dressed, Susan will hopefully be able to still care for her baby whilst in rehab.
