This past Monday, the University Branch Library in Sugar Land offered a free, fun-filled program for kids: Dr. Shock’s Science Explosion, presented by DJ Jeffrey. Children had the chance to engage in hands-on science experiments, such as making polymers, creating slime, and bending metal. They even met Pete, Dr. Shock’s pet opossum! Although recommended for grades K-5, the event was open to all ages. This program was generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For details on more upcomin
