Residents in Alamo, Veracruz, eastern Mexico, are grappling with severe water contamination after a crude oil spill from a flood-damaged pipeline polluted a local stream. The recent torrential rains that caused landslides and rivers to overflow in eastern Mexico also damaged a Pemex pipeline.
