Philippine mythology are stories about supernatural beings and forces, deities (referred to as anito or diwata in some ethnic groups), and mythological creatures that have been passed on by oral tradition and are continuously enriched through generations of retelling. In this exhibit entitled, “Philippine Myths: Pinoy Legends,Folktales and Creatures”, 94 Filipino artists use their art brushes, paints, and canvas to tell the stories of the central mythical creatures in Filipino folklore such as t
