Prior to dedicating his own time to the RNLI to help save lives at sea, Poole volunteer Mark was rescued along with two others in Storm Ophelia in 2017. The crew of Rosslare Harbour RNLI who rescued them will now receive a Vellum for their bravery after launching into horrendous conditions. Since joining the Poole crew as a volunteer, Mark has made a huge impact, taking part in many shouts, bringing loved ones back to shore and helping save lives at sea.
