Acting Commander Wayne Cheesman from Victoria Police has shown the media a stone that was allegedly thrown at officers today in Melbourne. Two members of the force were hospitalised amid clashes between the ‘March for Australia’ anti-immigration rally, and counter protesters. Cheesman claims the “people that came to pick the fight with police” were left-wing groups, and says the ‘March for Australia’ group was peaceful. Tune in to 10 News at 6pm tonight.
