Los Angeles County Fire Department crews have contained a fast-moving brush fire in Castaic on Tuesday afternoon. The Bert Fire started around 2:30 p.m. in the area of The Old Road and Biscailuz Drive, scorching 47 acres. No injuries or damage were reported. Water-dropping aircraft were used to help contain the fire, and forward progress was stopped in under two hours.
