Pacific Grove is magic. The small town-ness of it all was on full display during the butterfly parade yesterday. The quiet streets suddenly full of kids in handmade costumes, hearing their names be cheered by family and friends. The same voices they hear call their names regularly suddenly feeling like the cheers of adoring fans. The organized chaos, silliness and laughter was a much needed day of joy in a time when things feel anything but joyful. Grateful to call this special place our home. |
