Here are a selection of drills I use to improve the long jump take-off. Many of the them have a coordination and CNS challenging/adapting/consolidating benefit. I will use these and other types of take-off drills across the training year. If you challenge the jumpers with new and varied movements they will be more likely to adapt than if they just do the same ones over and over.
