This #LupusAwarenessMonth, Gem shares her experience living with #lupus, and her feelings of shame associated with the condition. "I feel a real disconnection between my body and my mind. My mind wants to do all these things, but my body can't because it's in a lot of pain. That feeling then turns into a sense of failure".
