The Swanage lifeboat has been launched from the town's historic lifeboat station for the very last time. Hundreds of people gathered to watch the event. Several scenarios were run with the Poole Atlantic 85 towing the Swanage Shannon and vice versa. Helms also took the opportunity to do slow speed transfers on and off the Shannon.
