Chinese Art | Top Lot Highlight A fine and rare Chinese doucai ‘lotus’ water pot, Qing dynasty, Qianlong mark and of the period, achieved £176,400 in our recent Asian Art sale. The exquisitely painted vessel, depicting iron-red bats among lotus blooms, drew over ten phone bidders and surpassed its estimate of £40,000–£60,000.
