So… I actually do NOT recommend getting barbed by a bunch of cholla…. 🌵 They call this plant the jumping cholla. It’s a common misconception that if you get too close to one the spines will physically jump off the plant and GET YOU. But actually they’re just called jumping cholla because if you get pricked the segments will break off the main body and stick to you… like you see here :) Removal is not fun.
