These fish are very visible during this period and provide a great family viewing opportunity for a fall outing. In recent years Wallowa Lake Kokanee have been very small and over abundant, making fishing difficult and unproductive. However, local biologists have seen early signs that the average size is increasing. Some anglers were catching daily limits of 2
